Project Description
Causing a wave of interest since the news was announced that restaurateur Razak Helalat was opening a second restaurant in Brighton. Great Northern Tiling were delighted to announce that they we had won the contract tiling package for the fit-out.
The Salt Room sits in a prime location, with amazing sea views. Located in an ideal tourist hotspot, it will have no problem with passing trade and hungry custom from the adjoining Hilton Brighton Metropole.
Areas Tiled
Approximately 500m2 of wall and floor tiling to toilets, restaurant floors, outside patio area and bar server.
Special Details
The bracing seafront winter weather created a problem with the program of work- we had to wait for a dry window of opportunity to fit the tiles to the outdoor patio area.
Comments
Since completion and on opening, The Salt Room has received rave reviews for both it’s fantastic food and impressive décor.
Razak Helalat commented “I think everyone has been overwhelmed by the design and the feel of this place. Brighton has been crying out for something like this – the reaction has been so positive.
