We’re getting a running start to this week, beginning with Anytime Fitness in Yeovil (pun very much intended). Here we’re putting down approximately 150m2 of tiled surface in the ladies and gents changing rooms and shower facilities. Not a bad job at all to start off the week with!
Ever heard of the Together Housing Group? They’re one of the biggest charitable housing associations in the UK, with over 38,000 homes in the Yorkshire and Lancashire. We’re really excited to be working with them on their new development at Snape Hill, Barnsley which includes putting down the kitchen and bathroom flooring in thirty brand new houses! This group does a lot for local communities including funding local voluntary groups and community projects so being a part of this project means a lot to us.
Finally, we’ve won a contract to put down a mosaic feature floor at the brand new Fire and Rescue Station in Newark. This development is part of a £3.5 million project to replace the aging former station, standing for over 50 years.
Station manager Mr Seth Armstrong, who has been in charge at Newark for five years, said: “It shows Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue is making a long-term commitment to the fire service in Newark.
“However, it is more than 50 years old now and is expensive to run, so this feels like the right time for us to have a new building that can be our home going forward,” he said.
