After the last couple of weeks being manic and keeping everyone here in a constant rush, it’s calmed down, allowed everyone to take a breather and ask the question – how is it already August? With it only being June a couple of days ago, we’re wondering where the time has gone!
It may be quiet but work has certainly not ceased and we have a few new updates to tell you about so settle down and read on…
You may recall reading about our work commencing at the St. Georges Park Hilton hotel last week. Well we’ll be starting work installing a brand new swimming pool surround there as well. Hopefully they’ll drain the water out for the lads first!
Filey – it may be a popular spot in North Yorkshire known for it’s beautiful beaches and scenery but there’s somewhere else equally loved by weary tourists – the pubs. Our tilers will be there installing new tiles on the walls of the bathrooms at the Imperial Vaults pub, located right in Filey Bay.
Continuing our tour of the great pubs of Britain, our work is taking us up to Elgin, Scotland where we’ll be installing a renovated bar walk surface in the Muckle Cross Wetherspoons pub.
Finally, a new contract takes us back to the capital where you’ll find us at Las Iguanas at the 02 Arena. Be on the lookout for behind-the-scenes photos over the next few weeks.
We have some fresh updated photos from on-site at both Swann Morton in Sheffield and the Midland Hotel, Manchester. Being slightly biased towards our home town, lets start with Sheffield shall we? As you can see, work is coming on very nicely and definitely meets our high standards.

Which brings us back to the Midland Hotel. Check out that amazing geometric tiling pattern in the gallery below! We’ve featured this similar style of flooring a little while ago and what we said back remains to be true – it’s an incredibly modern and stylish design that’s sure to be very popular.
