We’ve got a nice little update to a job we mentioned a couple of weeks ago as part of a few projects we have going on in Scarborough – The Turks Head Pub.
Compared to working at sites in more modern developments, The Turks Head being a very classical building has presented us with some interesting challenges related to its architecture. The main challenge that has popped up is some unusually curved walls…
Obviously due to the age of the building, it doesn’t follow the same architectural conventions modern buildings undergo as they weren’t around back then! Because of this, older buildings contain some interesting design and construction hurdles that keep our tilers on their toes to say the very least!
