What we did: “The project that the Great Northern Tiling Company worked on was on the £60m new development of Leeds Arena for Leeds City Council.  They were appointed through a tender competition process to complete the ceramic wall and floor tiling to the toilet areas, star and band rooms in the Arena.

“They were working to an agreed time scale but it was really the quality that was the most important, as the areas that they were working in were to host some of the world’s biggest A-list artists and groups such as Bruce Springsteen and Elton John.”

How we helped: “GNTC helped BAM to value engineer the specification and identify tiles that were more aesthetically pleasing. They also provided a saving to the budget. GNTC were very helpful and easy to work with and responded well to phasing and programme alterations.  They worked in a safe manner and we definitely look forward to working with them again.”
